I still don't understand what that name means. "Death May Die"?

Personal logo chicklewis Supporting Member of TMP18 Feb 2021 5:19 p.m. PST

Death May Die is the name of the game which these minis inhabit.

The 'hay' on the pitchfork is just TOO perfect !!

@chicklewis: Yeah, I know that! I just don't understand what that phrase actually means.

Skrapwelder19 Feb 2021 11:21 a.m. PST

It's part of a quote from H.P. Lovecraft's The Nameless City

"That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die."

Excellent work.I'm inspired but I'm waiting to start my Investigators when the ones from the Comic KS arrive.

I have this quirk that I need to have all the figs before
I start painting. If I've painted a set of figs up
& an Expansion comes out that adds more I have a devil of a time getting into a mood to paint them.

Beautiful work I recently got the game and for Christmas added Season 2. I was debating painting them, but after looking at your work I am compelled to.

Spectacular!

Yes, masterly painting, clear, precise, even hyper-realistic. Being quite unfamiliar with the game, nevertheless I expect that at least some of these miniatures represent specific characters in that game (as distinct from, perhaps, "Generic Countryman with fork" or "Armed Nurse" both in the top row). That said, could anyone confirm whether the bottom three rows contain Einstein, and perhaps Freud, Al Capone and Amelia Earhart, and finally 'Indiana Jones' and maybe even Hemingway?
