Just wondering if anyone can comment on whether 1/64 scale vehicles would work with 15mm miniatures? |

No, way too large. 15mm is about 1:100 scale. Mark |

Thanks Mark. I figured, but thought I'd ask anyway. |

Bravo Six, I have used 1/87 Rocos. They are a little big for the scale, but can work. Yankee Sam |

HO often looks about right with larger 15s, especially if based individually. |

I dunno. The figure has a cast on base then is mounted on a base… he towers over 1/100 unless the car is mounted on a base. And if the figure is bigger than 1/100 … even larger. |

Thanks for the input guys. I guess another question that should be asked is: are there any 1/100 diecast cars out there? I don't think there are. Some folks say Matchbox and Hot Wheels can be a close match for 15mm. But that's also hit and miss from what I hear. Funny that some Matchbox has been listed on eBay as 1/64 which I don't think is accurate. I don't ever remember hearing about a line of 1/100 civilian vehicles (cop cars, civilian cars, ambulances, etc). |

I've got loads of Hotwheels vehicles in my modern African 15mm armies, converted into various types of trucks and technicals. They go fine with my Peter Pig and QRF vehicles, guns and figures. |

There are some 1:100 scale diecast British vehicles of the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Bought mine off eBay, but they are in storage. Saloons, roadsters, coupes, vans, etc. Guess they might be for TT scale railways? |

Matchbox diecast cars are definitely not 1/64. They are what is known as 'box scale'. I.e. made the right size to fit the box! |

If your looking for vehicles as scatter terrian 1/100 architects models could work link |

I agree with Martin Rapier. Hot wheels can be a bit large and I have always found HO scale vehicles match best. I also have some 1/72 scale vehicles which look OK. As stated with the molded on bases and having based the figures they are always on the large or hefty size. Just get a couple and see for yourself. HO cars seem a little scarce nowadays but they used to go well back in the day. |

Thanks for weighing in guys. Matchbox diecast cars are definitely not 1/64. I didn't think so. But I did find an eBay seller who's listing all his Matchbox stuff as "1/64". |

Maybe he measured up one of them and that's what it came out as, then assumed the rest were the same! "an 'onest mistake guv…" |

My girlfriend just came back from the dollar store with a Hot Wheels "2019 Mercedes" which she grabbed for $1.50 USD and I just sized it up with a few 15mm figures and I'm pretty happy with how it sizes up. Cheap as chips too. |

I use a number of Hot Wheels and Matchbox vehicles with my 15s, which are actually closer to 18s. I also use HO buildings. |

I also use HO buildings. I've heard from several 15mm gamers that HO is preferable to N scale. |
