Today I finished the scans of plates (relating to the period 1792-1815) from the regimental histories I have in my shelves and added them to the "uniform portal" at link

Quite some of them were done by authorities like Richard Knötel or Anton Hoffmann (famous painter of Bavarian troops).

And as I've a lot of histories in PDF, of which some contain scans of plates in good quality I'll add some more to the portal :-)

Greetings from Berlin
Markus Stein

P.S. the plates referring to the period of 1850 to 1871 will be added to my gallery on 2empire.de (I'll announce it in the 19th century board of TMP when I finished the publication)
