I pulled my Hotz mat off the shelf which hasn't been used for years. The creases made by the folds haven't flattened so I wonder what can I do to eliminate them?

I wonder if you could use steam, like one of those steam machines you use on clothing? (NOT an iron.)

Or put a heavy, flat weight on top.

Or fold in the opposite direction.

Put them in the dryer set on low

This will probably work better if you also place some damp item in the dryer as well.

A wet kitchen towel, for example, will add moisture to the warm air within the dryer, which enhances the process of relaxing the fibers in the cloth, and so enhances removing wrinkles. Some of the more recent model dryers have a steam function you can set that does this for you. In either case it is reasonably effective at reducing wrinkles.
