I converted some Australian infantry into US special forces for my NAM collection, very minor greenstuff skills required thankfully
I'm no expert but they look good enough for humble little collection. I've updated my blog so feel free to check it out link so thanks for looking Cheers for now Russ |

Genius. I love to see someone add to figures (however good they are….and these are good) with a bit of Greenstuff. Converting Anzacs to US SF is rather clever. My understanding is that ARVN Tiger Stripe material was a great fashion statement (and how), but usually made in rubbish material, that disintegrated fairly quickly in the Boonies or jungle. Is there an SLR carrier also? That should be good for an Oz soldier. |

Amazing work on the tiger stripes my friend. You need to write a tutorial on how you do it. I'm thinking that it would work on 1/35 scale also. Keep up the great work. TIG |

Thanks guys deadhead, thank you. The Tiger Stripe material was cheap and easy to replace from what I can gather, it seems to have been a status symbol. The variations are many and its a challenge to reproduce them in 28mm but I seem to have managed it. The pack of figures are the three above with M16s and one single SLR, so far i mainly ordered the M16 packs but I reckon the Australian are going to be added proper to my collection. I did think of converting the SLR guy but it may be slightly beyond my capabilities. TIG, I'm guessing when I get a chance I know what tutorial I will be doing next! Time permitting of course. Once the main colours are laid out it just detail work, it can become a bit wearing but so far so good. Legion 4 thank you its much appreciated! I've still got a few more to add so more will be coming soon! I've tried a few goes at camo faces but I'm not happy yet but I'm still experimenting with the colour choices. So thanks for looking Cheers for now Russ |
