Finally finished painting the plastic BT miniatures from the starter sets for a friend. Quite like them, they aren't perfect as miniatures, but I prefer them over some of the older metal designs. Turned out a little darker than I intended thanks to my somewhat heavy handed use of ink wash, but otherwise I'm reasonably happy with them.

They look good!

They look really nice. I think the ink wash has really branch out the detail and given them a realistic look.

They look good to me!

I got mine from the new boxed rule sets but haven't gotten to paint them. I've never painted mechs nor played Battletech. I'm an old Wizkids MechWarrior Dark Age player. I like these new sculpts.

Very good! I have painted Ral Partha and Catalyst Game Labs BattleTech miniatures and yes, I also prefer painting the plastic miniatures from Catalyst. And they have many new sets that will come soon into retail.

As plastic mechs they must be extra serious about monitoring their heat levels!
