20mm WWII FRENCH INFANTRY.
The first figures for my own new army. Figures are from Simons Soldiers in Australia and are superb!! There is loads of well researched detail on all the figures, even the backpacks differ on many figures!! Having to take the photo's inside hasn't helped show off the figures in their best light but hopefully they pass muster!

Unfortunately the camera has picked up stray strands of static grass on the black background that I failed to spot!!

Cheers

Wow, they look great! thumbs up thumbs up
I just picked up 3 boxes of the Pegasus 1/72 figs. Didn't know this range existed.

Thanks.

John

I too had never heard of Simon's Soldiers, but what I see on the site really impresses me.

How grim was it shipping from Oz to the UK? I don't just mean the cost, I mean the hassle with getting them through customs (or am I better to not even ask?)

These look really excellent and they look like they would blend with FAA. These are definitely on my shopping list. Thanks for that.

What figures do you use for 1940 Germans?

Deadhead…this is where you need CANZUK!

Nice figs and I agree, CANZUK would be a great idea

Likewise didn't know about this range. Your photos are plenty good enough to shoe the figure quality – thanks!

Great job. I can't say that I was aware of the line, either.

If you liked the Battlefield/Blitz lines of figures you are in luck because Simon uses the same sculptor.

I had a number of of the old Blitz 20mm French and mixed Simon's new French in to get nice group of about 100 figures painted up.

I also have a handful of FAA and they matched up in size.

He also carries OstModels vehicles which are worth a look.

Simon is a great person to deal with. He is friendly, responsive, and gets orders out quickly. I've dealt with just about every 20mm metal WW2 supplier in the last 12 months and Simon is in the elite group for quality and service.

Thanks for the nice comments, really appreciated!!

Deadhead. I have had several orders with Simon and he is easy to deal with and the figures arrive quickly. Only one package has been hit by customs, so fingers crossed.

Wargamorium. I don't have any 1940 Germans but I believe Simon has them on his "to do soon" list. I am watching for that one!!

Cheers all

Great pics of the various packets showing the depth of details. They are first rate! My first French were from Battlefield and I am about to order more from Simon.
