Plague permitting we will be having a gaming event at Arnhem again over the the commemorative weekend 17/18/19 September. We have set up a Facebook group specifically for the project with the highly original name 'Armnhem2021'. The venue is the NH Rijn Hotel – same as last time – which incorporates the old Rhine Pavilion – set in a crucial area of the battle and about 100 yards from where Urquhart took shelter and a significant combat location in its own right. We can arrange rooms at the hotel at a reasonable price. Numbers will be restricted – partly for space but also so that the event is more like a big club weekend rather than a convention. We will bring large collections of figures and scenery, but of course participants are welcome to bring their own as well. |
