Hi Guys, Warlord makes some nice splash markers for Cruel Seas – my paints here -
Can anyone recommend the 'inverse' of these, made of resin, metal, or plastic, that would look like field artillery explosions? I've seen some custom versions made from foam clumping (that look real good), and wanting something durable that could take a little tabletop handling (so cotton wool versions are out)…..thinking of using these for hit/shock markers, and/or for artillery aiming points. For hit markers I have some little flame-style/explosion markers, but wondering if there's some commercial versions of land impacts, suitably compact enough for stacking in groups of up to 3 alongside a typical 1-2 inch infantry stand or model vehicle length…..a general, arty-aiming point marker wanted, could be larger. Leads……? |

Litko make loads of these things out of laser cut acrylic. I have a bunch I'd let go dirt cheap.
Some also have black smoke. |

Mark, I have ones like those, but I appreciate you taking the time for the reply, and the picture! John, those look very cool, small enough, and nicely energetic. Unfortunately, I can't 3D print. |
