Hello,

In the search for some additional regular troops for future war / Horizon wars / Battletech Alpha strike, I have found quite a number of interesting manufacturers.

Let me share my list (14 references) in case it helps anyone else.

The TMP Manufacturers Directory lists 70 manufacturers that produce 6mm minis, though of course not all are sci-fi.

27 companies show if you search for "6mm sci"

Others to add:

Scotia Grendel
Fortress
C-in-C
Iron Wind Metals

If you want to include print-on-demand or 3D printing files, that list will get a lot longer!

Also, Reaper's CAV is 10mm scale. The minis are significantly larger than 6mm minis.

thanks Javelin, I did not know this :(

I will correct it

Also add these:
EMP Games
Strato Minis Studio
Trolls Under the Bridge
Iliada Game Studio
Perfect Six Miniatures (boxes, barrels and other accesories)

*Black Earth is the game from the company Nuclear Shrimp Games.

**CAV miniatures may be used for 6mm – the BattleMechs/Robots, as is the case of Dropzone Commander from TT Combat.

***Iron Wind Metals (mentioned) and Ral Partha (for Europe) produce miniatures for BattleTech.

****Some of the companies have more ranges of miniatures (for example, Scotia Grendel has its own 6mm sci-fi range and Age of Tyrants, recently added).

***** Many links from TMP list are outdated, but they are a good starting point.

Iliada are interesting, in that all their work is laser-cut MDF, and is surprisingly good – Even the vehicles, yes, vehicles.

Strato Minis Studios are mind-blowing in their detail, and used to do a line of 15mm versions as well, that however is defunct at the end of this month. They are generous in offering 20% sales frequently as well.
