Hi all,
I am after recommendations if anyone can help, please.

Once we get back into being able to play face to face again here I am hoping to run a load more Mighty Armies (the fantasy variant) at my club and with a small 3x3 area I felt the best type of terrain options would be flat or printed images of swamp / farms / built-up areas etc that make it obvious what the terrain is but interferes less with physical play of the game. My club has a couple of very flat hills that worked well but they were 7" across with is getting a bit large in that field of play.

So I am looking for features in the 4-6" size range. Either squares/rectangles with the shapes of the feature within or shaped to the contours of the feature.

I also thought I might use some of these might in PBI squares when I get back to that!

So does anyone have any recommendations for this sort of terrain? 'Free to download' and print is fine, as is 'pay for good artwork', equally if someone know of good designs, well printed and laminated/gloss print on cardstock that cost but are worth it.

I am UK based so if shipping is involved that is most ideal.

I have done an in initial google and found a few options, and that helps with some free options (most I have found are a bit larger than I wanted but scale and print….) – however, if people know a good repository I have missed that would be great to know. However, I think recommendations on the commercial product end are more likely to fill areas I cannot find myself. I will be having a read of this board as well once I get time to do so.

Thanks for any tips and pointers!

If you download Battle Chronicler it has loads of terrain you can customize and then export to print as a PDF

If it were me I would use "angel hair" here's an example I guess there are lots more.

Then use a few cut out flat card trees mounted vertically or fold them out (cruciform). Same for swamp, different color and a few stand up clumps of grass.

Why; because personally I find even very basic "3D" with a vertical dimension is easier to get your head round.

Even 2D houses, particularly folded so they have 2 sides. again a grey Angel hair would do as a base.

Why Angel hair, its cheap and provided you don't paint it it will drape over hills.

Personally I would just use Fold flat terrain but that is perhaps a bit too far for this post.

Even more minimalist 3D trees. Not mine and they fold flat.

perhaps there should be a Minimalist Fold flat thread on here.
