These are finally available again, though production numbers are limited so they may sell out quickly, and pricing on the Interceptors is, forgive the saying, "astronomical" already, at $200 USD a pop, plus shipping for a wonderfully designed and painted, diecast metal "toy".

If you want a trio, you might need to dip into your savings account, and/or see if you can get an increase in your "defense budget" prior to making a purchase.

UFOs are a bit more "affordable" at $70 USD a pop, though they're sure to be scarce I suspect, in short order again, with resellers making a nice profit on those too, in a few months time.

Both of the new models do come with display bases for a change, in order to help soften the eye-popping pricing slightly, I suppose.

Still, if you want to defend Earth from an alien invasion, this IS really the only game in town now, for nice, large, diecast, prepainted models.

I have no connection to the manufacturer, or any retailers, but just thought some of you might be interested, if you are looking for some fun, Sci-Fi, Earth Defense skirmish games in the near future.

I suppose people who do, make their own to defend the Earth.

My UFO arrived a few days ago, they are the old Product Enterprise models repackaged with an added base, my UFO certainly works well with the Crooked Dice aliens, even though it is probably smaller than it should be, the fact that you never see anyone standing next to one in the TV show means you can take liberties with regards to scale.

I used to have a couple of the Dinky Toys ones (or where they Corgi?).

I don't recall seeing any weapons planned for the Earth craft, so perhaps they'll adopt Russian-style Taran attacks if needed.

They were Dinky.

Those on a more restricted "defense budget", may want to check out the smaller, but still very nicely sculpted, cast, and prepainted, Konami miniatures.

Even those are getting quite expensive of late.

Would love to see those re-released again by someone soon.
