Nice one. There are probably not many real life examples of such encounters (at least not for this result), but if we know what happens there is not that much reason to actually play it out :-)
In real history such encounters were probably on a smaller, skirmish, scale, with forager parties being ambushed.

Contamine does not give numbers of partisan involved, nor what form the support took by Charles VII.

Quite possibly, as the French gained the advantage, English foraging parities would increase their escort to compensate.

The games did generate some interesting possibilities.
