The link above is a new and complete General Pettygree Battlestory.
You won't need to wait weeks for each piece of the story to unfold on the blog.

It's all there from beginning to end. Simply scroll down.
Be sure to go all the way to the end. It will be easy.

It is unlike any Pettygree story.
The adaptation is unique because the history it is based upon is mostly unknown.

Photo techniques are new, different and if I may say so, present some exciting eye candy.

It has been a satisfying way to showcase rarely seen historical miniatures.

Where are we going, Bill?
Someplace usually cold but things heat up fast.

No malingering now --- and --- you might want to use a larger viewing screen

I am grateful for the interest in the General's stories you have kindly expressed on TMP through the years.

Fantastic story.

One of these days I'll have to really give your blog a good once over.

General Pettygree is my colonial inspiration grin

Thanks for posting this,

Dave

A great story, and great photography. Definitely a different war for the General Pettygree blog. Thanks for the read.

I'm only seeing Part 1, no matter how I scroll. Might be my browser? (IPad).

Parzival, thank you for telling me.
This must be happening to more than you.
Not everyone though.

Stats are adding up strangely.

Bill, thanks so much for posting all the links. I'm still in the middle of the tale, but it's a great one!

Excellent work, with an exciting story, and terrific photography (and art— all the elements are art).

I will admit to being thrown off by the scene numbering— I'm used to plays where each act is divided into scenes numbered independently to previous acts. (As in "Act I, Scene 1, Act I Scene 2; Act II, Scene 1, Scene 2, Scene 3; Act III, Scene 1, etc.). But the story flowed seamlessly, so the confusion soon vanished.

Bill, thanks so much for these tales. They are a delightful respite from a crazy world, and I want you to know they are appreciated.

That is a fantastic set of posts, thank you for sharing! Great minis and pictures, too. And count me among those that had no idea USN aircraft struck Norway during WWII.

V/R,
Jack
