…without careful reexamination and staunch recommitment, NATO could be unprepared to tackle emerging challenges in domains like cyber and space.

Not really a lot to celebrate from where I sit, though they have kept the USSR/Russia from invading and occupying many territories.

NATO today, sadly, is very weak, and many of the major players no longer talk their own self defense seriously, let alone being equipped and ready to help other nations from the organization.

Almost makes me wonder what their budget for white flags is at times, just in case.

NATO is doing just great, the UN is doing just great, Western Civilization is doing just great.

All is well.

Extra special good.

Considering that NATO is still around 30 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the demise of the Warsaw Pact, I'd say it lasted longer than most people would have expected.

+1 USAF

Considering that NATO is still around 30 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the demise of the Warsaw Pact,

NATO is still a viable organization not so much to defend against the Russia/WP. But an existing military structure which can be used for other purposes…
