I managed to get a big game of Stars & Lasers the other day which was a playtest for a scenario that will soon be release, this one is with lots and lots of fighters!!! I have put up a report on my site showing how it played out. link

That was a fun read! I'd expect a Taranto/Pearl Harbor scenario in space to be a blow out for the attacker and this didn't disappoint. |

@Capt Flash Thanks it was such a fun game, wasn't the result I wanted but still fun. @blackjack071 Thanks, yeah the odds are in the attackers favour, but my awful dice rolling did not help at all, but it was still great fun getting all those fighters onto the table for a game. |

Have you tweaked the scenario since that initial playtest? Suggestions and constructive criticism… The ship that rolled 5+1 turns to activate? Perhaps make the modifier -1, with a 1 turn minimum? Plus, the ship that was still 'sleeping'? Did you mean that the crew were literally sleeping, or the ship couldn't get activated per your tables? If it was the crew, maybe that result has to come out of the tables? The long activation result I can understand though, with a possible adjustment as suggested above. Please understand, these are meant to help improve your scenario. 😃 I'll let others suggest which dice gods to pray to, I have certain dice I know to roll in D&D for d6 and d8 weapons (red dice I got YEARS ago at local games store, couldn't tell you the make), and favourite d20s as well! No dice tampering! 😃 |

I've oft repeated some folks who say they execute (hammer, fire, whatever) offending dice in front of the rest of the bag as an object lesson. Of course, the fact I have part ownership of a game store has to taken in to account… Edit: Lest I forget, cracking battle! Doug |

Sorry for the delay in getting back to these, festive season stopped all hobby stuff 😥 @trynda1701 I did adjust / tweak the scenario a little after the third playtest, but not by much, I do like a scenario that is… hard, or not even, if you know what I mean, so yes it is hard for the defenders especially if they roll badly on the tables. And the "sleeping" result is 1-10 on the table, it is just that the crew are oblivious to what is going on, this turn. The delayed activation can be bad for a docked ship if you roll high on the D6, but what was really bad in the first couple of playtests was that they never had any PDS either which now in the adjusted version they do. I pray to all the dice Gods and it does no good!! @TheBeast thanks, I have played this scenario a good many times now and it is always hard, but a lot of fun.
