I have just run across Victrix fast play Napoleonic rules for 54mm. They look like fun but there are some missing information. I want to know if anyone played the game back at Salute 2012. My questions on these rules are: 1. Are there a suggested number of minis per unit? 2. How many (if needed) minis are needed to man an artillary unit. 3. How do the counters or bonuses work? How are they assigned to units? If anyone has some answers or has experience playing these rules I would love to hear from you. Link to rules: link |

Did some quick googling, LHH. A participant described the infantry units as being "20 or so" which matches with photos of the event. (Bases 40mm square holding one casting, by the way.) I found a 10 and a 12-casting cavalry unit, so I'd go with "10 or so" for cav, and since Victrix sells five 54mm gunners per gun, I'd go out on a limb and say that's probably starting strength. For mechanics, of course, you need an actual participant. I was laid off and on the wrong side of the pond at the time. |

Thank you for your help! Can you post where you found participants describing the event? I have been struggling to find where participants or observers have talked about the game. |

Google "Salute 2012 Victrix" or "Salute 2012 54mm" go to images, and when you find a picture which is clearly a 54mm game, click to expand the image. Then click on "go to page." My computer skills are mediocre, but persistence takes me a long way, sometimes. |
