… Star Wars Movie "In 2023, Patty Jenkins will deliver (pending future ramifications of the world in which we live) Rogue Squadron, the next major theatrical release in the Star Wars saga: a tale of the bravest squadron of pilots in the galaxy far, far away. The Rogues have a long history within canon and a longer one out of it—and although Jenkins has made it clear her movie is not a direct adaptation of their adventures, here's some characters we'd love to see among her cast, as analogs or otherwise. It's almost unfair to start here, really. Wedge Antilles is the greatest fighter pilot in Star Wars, the legend behind the cockpit of one of the greatest starfighters in science fiction history. In Star Wars' current canon, he may have followed Luke's lead when Rogue Squadron was formally established—now directly inspired by Jyn Erso's Rogue One team—but Wedge will forever be the face of the Rogues, their leader as Luke moved on to focus on his Jedi teachings…" Main page link Amicalement Armand |

There is a horse as a pilot? From the site: Hohass Ekwesh HE'S A HORSE. Okay sure, I'm cheating here: Hohass was never a member of Rogue Squadron. He was in Wraith Squadron, the hybrid starfighter/commando unit Wedge created Anyway, HE'S A HORSE. If we're getting a new version of Rogue Squadron, there's enough wiggle room to put a horse in an X-Wing, frankly. Wow?!? Really? A new low for the Star Wars saga. I can see the conversation in Disney's boardroom. Executive #1: "I've got an idea, let's make one of the rebel pilots a horse". Executive #2: "Ya, that's a great idea. Kids love horses, that way we can sell more toys to those kids that love horse AND star wars. Maybe we can get it to look like a pretty pony thing for more sales. Perfect combination". Executive #1: "Space Fighter Pilot Horse, ya, we got it all covered. Boy, is this is great". |

There is a horse as a pilot? Relax, Oddball. If a fish can be a fleet admiral, why can't a horse be a fighter pilot?

That vid is really funny. By vid I mean video, not Covid 'cause that's not so funny, anyway… So glad I never gave a dime to Disney to see this that last of a movie. |

There were a lot of elements from the EU that didn't make sense. A horse x-wing pilot was one of them. It's like the writers or developers were doing drugs when they came up with these. And not the really good drugs, just the kind that give you a slight buzz, a couple of hallucinations, but make you feel depressed rather than elated… Damon. |
