After watching "Valley of Tears" I wanted to dust off my Arab Israeli war forces.

How well does TOB work with moderns?

In the old CD3 days early ATGMs (Saggers) fired early in the phase, but resolved at the end. Allowing units to try to suppress the firing unit. Does this still function that way?

I've used CDTOB for 1973, Desert Storm and NATO-WP games. ATGM have to be stationary and only fire in opportunity fire. That's pretty much the only rule change needed. I also make it easier for Western armies to bring in artillery. Frank Chadwick has a book for sale at Test Of Battle for the 1973 war.

There are links off the Forum to Bob Mackenize's stuff. I'd need to review ATGM updates.

Of course you could use Combined Arms (CD 1.5ish)
