I've enjoyed presenting 3D Battle Cry games with my Gordon & Hague minis over many years (there's lots of these conversions which can be seen on the Board Game Geek forum). This is viable wargaming of course. Some may poo-pooh it, but for the amount of time invested in "doing it with miniatures" with these hex-grid systems, I've have many a joyous moment. Bang for the buck, the best gaming avenue we've pursued locally in this hobby. |

So wonderful to see those old Airfix figures on the table. Back in the day, Airfix made the ONLY cavalry figures in this scale. |
