Odd that he talks about Spencer Smith figures when they appear to be Airfix…

Bob says:

I very much enjoyed my last ACW game using my Spencer Smith figures…. This time I used my old Airfix armies.

Go back to his Dec 1st post to see the Spencer Smiths in action.

I've enjoyed presenting 3D Battle Cry games with my Gordon & Hague minis over many years (there's lots of these conversions which can be seen on the Board Game Geek forum).

This is viable wargaming of course. Some may poo-pooh it, but for the amount of time invested in "doing it with miniatures" with these hex-grid systems, I've have many a joyous moment.

Bang for the buck, the best gaming avenue we've pursued locally in this hobby.

I did this the first time Battle Cry was released. It looks great.

So wonderful to see those old Airfix figures on the table. Back in the day, Airfix made the ONLY cavalry figures in this scale.
