of Intelligent Life Beyond Earth. Harvard's top astronomer lays out his controversial theory that our solar system was recently visited by advanced alien technology from a distant star. In late 2017, scientists at a Hawaiian observatory glimpsed an object soaring through our inner solar system, moving so quickly that it could only have come from another star. Avi Loeb, Harvard's top astronomer, showed it was not an asteroid; it was moving too fast along a strange orbit, and left no trail of gas or debris in its wake. There was only one conceivable explanation: the object was a piece of advanced technology created by a distant alien civilization. In Extraterrestrial, Loeb takes readers inside the thrilling story of the first interstellar visitor to be spotted in our solar system. He outlines his controversial theory and its profound implications: for science, for religion, and for the future of our species and our planet. A mind-bending journey through the furthest reaches of science, space-time, and the human imagination, Extraterrestrial challenges readers to aim for the stars—and to think critically about what's out there, no matter how strange it seems. link

Hey I watch all those Ancient Alien, UFO Hunters, UFO Files, etc., etc., type shows all the time. I love that stuff! The cigar shaped rock pasting thru our solar system in 2017 sounds like it's a good candidate for an alien craft, IMO. Interestingly I've see many scientists on those shows, etc. Say if you talked about aliens, UFOs, etc. 30-40 years ago. You'd be laughed out of the room, etc. Now it is much more mainstream. And with all the cell phone, CCTV cameras, etc., now almost everywhere. There are some pretty interesting photos/film taken that can't be debunked … |

Reportedly, aliens watched the moon landings, and at least one US Space Shuttle astronaut (I forget his name) confirmed that they were still in contact with "the alien vessel" back in the day, so if our astronauts have confirmed them, that's good enough for me. Most of the time the live radio and/or video feeds are quickly cut by NASA when one of the astronauts mentions stuff like that, or when video they don't want you to see is being broadcast. Apparently, they switch to more secure channels. In some cases though, HAM radio operators pick that up too. |

Hey, who said there was intelligent life on earth anyway? |

Aliens won't be visiting very often. I heard there is a galaxy-wide bulletin warning all planets and alien about Earth. "Warning! Do not enter. The inmates are running the asylum" Although they do state aliens without ID are welcome in the United States. Wolfhag |

I think I've heard that before myself, Wolf ! All they have to do is pick up on our daily news feeds. And realize we generally don't treat other humans very well, they probably believe, and rightly so, we would not treat them any better … 👽🛸 |
