Anyone familiar with this new 6mm designer?Size compatible with Baccus/Adler?Good communication/delivery?……

Cerdic05 Jan 2021 1:37 p.m. PST

No, I'd not heard of them before.

I've just placed a sample order to have a look at them…

They look okay, although a bit squashish (is that a word?) but that is based on the images. The detail looks good so it will be interesting to see how that factor compares to other 6mm ranges, such as the excellent detail usually found on Adler mins, of which I have thousands. But great to see another manufacturer of Napoleonic miniatures coming onto the scene, especially in these troubled times. I wish them the very best.

Is there a way to contact the company? I checked out the website but did not see any contact info there? How do you get in touch with them to ask questions? thanks for the help in advance.

Indeed a website to seĺl stuff without an email adress is a bit strange.I coudn't help myself making an order and got a mail that my order is on the way.Their email is grumblerminiatures@gmail.com.I will keep you posted and hope brexit doesn't get in the way too much.

I placed an order as I said above.

They turned up two or three days later, well packed.

The infantry are on 20mm strips of four, the same as Baccus. Figures are about the same height as Baccus but slightly slimmer. I would have no problem using them together on the same table.

Castings are nice and clean, just a couple of bayonets to straighten.

Nice figures, I'll be getting more!

Make sure you post a picture or two once you've painted some! My figures are all H&R (since no one else made 6mm when I started!!); I'm feeling they would not go together well?

Recieved my order in less than 2 weeks which is fast with the new customs restrictions between UK and the rest of Europe.Figures were nicely packed and I agree with Cerdic about the quality.Match perfectly with Baccus.Good to have a new manifacturer in these stay-home-and-paint times.

Be good to see them when painted and based and if possible placed alongside other 6mm miniatures.

But again, nice to see someone starting up rather than closing down.

Well here they are:to the left 1st Chasseurs by Grumbler and to the right 1st Grenadiers by Baccus.Perfect match IMHO

I have just managed to finish my first batch, and very nice they were too (their figures, not my painting!):

Thanks Grumblerminiatures, appreciate it. Your dismounted French Dragoons are hovering quite near to my painting tray now…
