Hi all. Many years ago when the Internet was just getting going I had an interest in the RCW. I bought some figures but only painted some of them. I'm just getting back into the period and see there is a lot more material in English now. I've just bought a couple of Thomas Hillman's books from his RCW series. I see in the front of one it mentions two books that I can't find. Does anyone know if they were ever published?
1.Second horse army, history of the mounted red army that fought the whites in the Taurida.
2. The travelled path, book II. History of the first horse army in Poland.

Any help appreciated.

Just googled them and the author and couldn't find either. Some other titles, yes. Since even books held in libraries show up I suggest they may never have been published. Good luck if you keep looking.

Well, yes, they were published. Here is the text for the First Horse Army in Poland: mir-knig.com/read_331522-1

I don't believe that translations into English exist though. I presume that is what you mean.

Sound like it was a project that was never finished. Thanks for all the replies. I shall stop my hunt!

I have nothing to add about Hillmans stuff, sorry badwargamer but thank you to Mark Plant for that excellent source about First Horse Army. An enjoyable read.
