I saw a Mage Knight War Wagon figure, on e-Bay, and I realized I could modify it for use in my 2e BattleSystem games, particularly for my Dwarven Armies. I bought it, and I fitted two Caesar Dwarf figures into the back of it: too short! They needed a 'box' to stand on, to see over the front of their chariot!

To form the needed 'box', I glued three pieces of MDF together, using Wood Glue (PVA). I painted them with Minwax Polyshades urethane stain (Royal Walnut), to seal them, and to darken them. I glued the finished 'box' into the rear of the chariot. I finished painting the two Caesar Dwarves, and I glued them on top of their 'box', in the chariot, finishing it.

I figure I will give the chariot the following BS stat's:

AD 8*6
AR 6 (the beast of burden is covered in natural armor plates!)
Hits: 5 (2 for the beast, one for each Dwarf figure on the chariot: driver on the mount's harness, and two riders in the back)
MV 12"
CD 9"

Here are some photos of the finished project: Link. The only thing left to do, is to put them, with the Dwarven Army, into battle… Cheers!

Elf boxing, that could be a dwarven boardgame for sure.
