Interesting. So when you discuss Tigers, Shermans, etc. I did not hear any benefit from then heavier tanks having any benefit in combat. I watched all the videos and am interested in this level of combat. I own a load of 3mm figs and an following this. The PT 2 combined arms video seemed to end abruptly. Thank you. John |

Having looked at the videos, they are very helpful. Just 1 suggestion: the weapon of choice, in improving hit rolls to 1-3, rather than 1-2, is a great idea. However, it is quite powerful. So I would suggest that, even where a side has the weapon of choice, its supporting artillery and adjoining square unit supports still roll on a more difficult 1-2 to hit, not a 1-3?? |

@John Leahy – Armor Class Thank you for your reply. I will be posting the different between armor in a later video. I will post here for people to read. The armor bonus starts with the Weapon of Choice (WOC). 1. Armor formations vs non armor formations are the WOC. 2. If both sides have armor the heavier side gains 1D6 . 3. Heavier tanks get saves. For example a Panther gets a save, a Tiger or Pershing get two saves. A save roll is a 1-3 on 1D6. If the save is rolled the hit is ignored and considered removed from the combat results. My earlier versions had save rolls for all units. this new system streamlines things. Thank you for your comments. Chris |

John Leahy – Combat and hit numbers John The Combined Arms pt 2 did end quickly. I started to go into Break-Through Combat but decided to make that a pt3 video to follow. The hit number idea you suggest is an interesting idea. i am all ready limiting supporting ART of all types to a 1-2. Let me play test your idea to use it for all supporting battalions too.
