I worked with a Ukrainian woman who told me that virtually every Ukrainian in infotech in the 90s worked on the Kuznetsov and what is now the Liaoning -- they were the only projects going.

There are some strange dates in the article: dated as 16 Dec 2020 but then it talks about HMS Queen Elizabeth being under construction and due to complete in 2020 and describes the Charles de Gaule as still operating Super Etendards. Looks to me like a re-issue of an old piece without any effort at updating it.
