Indeed.

I bought one of these after observing that it was functionally the same as one marketed to modelers/gamers, yet at half the price.

I bought one awhile back. Works pretty well.

Interesting. However, I have read so many bad reviews on how these units last on a very short time that I decided against buying one. Instead, I use my old jigsaw. I removed the base plate. I did not like the idea of using a blade. A metal clamp would not fit. So I tried a small screwdriver. It fits snugly metal 1st jnserted. I then use 2 rubber bands. I use it at half speed for about 30 seconds. Perfect results!

Thanks

John

I went the Jigsaw route, as well. Absolutely love the results! Bought a used Jigsaw at an estate sale, for $10. USD Bought a new blade, and blue painter's tape, for another $4. USD Happy, happy, happy! Cheers!

I had one, it was fine until the motor burned out. Then I read about taking a clamp and inserting it into the end of a reciprocating saw – game changer – smoothest paint i have ever worked with now and not much more expensive than that device.

I went a different route and got a vortex mixer. My journey to the vortex here:
