For your Star Wars games, do you use Star Wars Legion or are there some good not-Star Wars figures out there somewhere in either 15 or 28?

I have seen Rebelminis 15mm Titan Stormtroopers RMt5 painted like Star Wars Stormtroopers, black and white, they look good.
edit Rebelminis has a 20% off going until 010421 I believe

Going to use 28mm Eisenkurn (Imperial Stormtroopers) and 28mm Raumjager for some Rebels. Along with Maelstroms Edge plastics. A visual cross between 40k and Star Wars classic.

Mine are almost entirely old Mico Machines figures, with vehicles from a range of sources including Japanese die cast toys. My HK47 Assassin Droid started life as a giveaway in a Christmas Cracker.

I also use Micro Machines for my Clone Wars games. Clones are from Star Wars Risk games along with B2 battledroids. Vehicles are a mix of WOTC and diecast toys. Recen, I have found STL files where I can scale down the figs to the same scale. The files are free from Thingaverse.

Thanks,

John

Augustus has the right idea for the 28mm side of it. I just got some Raumjager to be used for the same reason.

I use the old WOTC figures(as well as their rules) but I also have a ton of the old micro machines figures from an old idea to convert Epic 40k to Star Wars…….I still think it's a good idea!

I, too use figures from Imperial Assault and WOTC, I like the figures to look exactly like the ones in the movies or animated series.
I have expensive tastes….

Hmm. My core humans are West End Games 25mm. But I picked up Micromachine Jawas and Ewoks and 28mm Wookiees so I have more size differential than the movies. Also except for the Wookiees, everyone was pretty cheap.

Bashytubits31 Dec 2020 3:38 p.m. PST

I have LOADS of West End Games 25mm, more than enough for even a large battle. I just lack a space to play in at the moment.
