I wouldn't have much faith about a movie made by a nation whose troops were not involved. Albeit, many don't know about 30,000 Canadians that did join the US military and served in Vietnam. IIRC that was illegal for them to do so. But no one was charged with anytime. I guess the Canadian Gov't turned a blind eye.

I saw it a few years ago. Based on the title, I was really looking forward to it. Based on the actual viewing, I stand by my comment.

If you see Uwl Boll's name on a project, don't expect much.

You are right it is an unknown fact.

5 times as many Canadians came South volunteering to fight communists than "Americans" went North to avoid service requested by their country.

I believe my source was from "Dirty Little Secrets of the Vietnam War".

A good book based upon Dept. VA and DOD records that really shows many of the myths of the war are complete BS.

Yes, that is an amazing stat Oddball, and so few have heard of it. Sadly Canada got stuck with some very questionable individuals from the USA.
