Hello all, This is the Waterthorne Villa from Warbases. It's an MDF kit so needs a bit of detailing to give texture etc. I used an acrylic paste for the walls and plastic pantile sheets from Wills for the roof.
Here's the gardener, Compostus, taking a break from his labours to stare off into space.
And here's the proud owner.

And after a nice lunch some Roman officers assemble for a chat. The tribune on the right doesn't seem to like what he is hearing.

That's excellent. You say the tribune doesn't like what he's hearing but at least he doesn't have his sword drawn like the other guy who doesn't look like he's about to do some random lawn trimming. |
