I also pontificate on the nomenclature of the series of conflicts that occurred in the British Isles between 1639 and the Restoration link

"Not to be confused with the Wars of the Three Kingdoms that took place in the third century in what is now modern day China."

And immensely irritating to those of us who would rather be reading a book on the real Three Kingdoms than yet another history of the ECW/BCWs. Whenever I see another book or article with "Three Kingdoms" in the title my heart catches, I think, "Is it? At last…" but no, it's Charles and Cromwell again. "Three Kingdoms" is taken, people, and has been for over a millennium and a half, choose your own terminology don't pinch someone else's!

<end rant>
