One of my favourite films is Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan. For me, one of the most noteworthy scenes is when the USS Enterprise encounters the USS Reliant for the first time and falls victim to a surprise attack. The assumption for this game is that Kirk follows General Order Twelve and puts the Enterprise onto a combat footing.

Thanks so much! Never gave Attack Wing a decent try, as I was less than thrilled with the X-Wing engine, but this dance was very entertaining. Consider me well tempted. Doug |

Nice game! Although since this is the first encounter between Enterprise and Reliant, Khan doesn't have the Genesis Device yet :) |

Thanks ScottWashburn, I'd forgotten that Kirk & co find Genesis at Regula and then Khan steals it. I guess the Enterprise crew would board the Reliant, but with a crew of trainees onboard, probably not a good plan. |

That was a pretty cool game.
As for boarding Reliant w/ "..a boat full of, children." (Adm. Kirk to Spock). IF it had come to that, they'd have taken heavy casualties, but by wt. of numbers, the Ent. crew would have retaken the Reliant. |
