I played a very enjoyable game of Dahlgren and Columbiad today, using Tumbling Dice 1/2400th scale ships for the Chileans and Peruvians. More photos and an after action blurb on the blog:

Forgot to say that the Huascar won…with both Chilean ironclads heavily damaged by the end of the game!

I was surprised by the end result but the Chileans were really unlucky at several critical points, so the Peruvians got away with it.

Lovely looking game Jim and a good read – I really must dig my ironclads out and finish them, but as usual I have far too many projects.
