Lee Brimmicombe-Wood, author of the Colonial Marines Technical Manual, is also the designer of many wargames, including Downtown: Air War Over Hanoi, 1965-1972; The Burning Blue; Bomber Command: The Night Raids; Nightfighter; and the sprawling Wing Leader series.
