Recently I posted a narrated slideshow to YouTube showcasing and reviewing my Memoir 44 Collection. In the video, I talk about how I painted the figures, my love for the game and a very quick review of the system.

In an accompanying article on Must Contain Minis, I talk about how I love to use Memoir 44 to introduce non-gamers to historical miniatures wargaming. I also talk about how great it is for the holidays. I find it much easier to get family members to play this game with me than to talk about (or play) a full blown miniatures game with me. :)

Nicely done!
I got to play a few games at a convention (years ago), the host made over-sized hexes (either 3 or 4 inches with terrain) and used either 6mm or 10mm tanks, and I think 15mm infantry. That was a good time.

Richard Borg has used miniatures to demonstrate his games that use blocks. He uses 28mm figures on a mat that has 5" hexes. I use 18mm figures on a mat that has 3" hexes.

Thanks Stryderg.

Nick, that is awesome to know that Richard Borg uses miniatures to play. It certainly has that feel. Thanks for sharing this tidbit about yourself and Richard.
