Thanks for sharing. An interesting study five years before the fall of the Berlin Wall. I've done some reading on the collapse of the DDR and find that event fascinating. The Rand document you shared paints a political and economic environment ripe for revolution. But instead we witnessed a bloodless collapse of a 40 year old nation. I enjoyed the read though I'm not sure what value it would be to the US Air Force. |
