Virtue mine honour is the family motto and 'Another One for Hector' is the clan battle cry. I never knew the origin of that until I read your blog. Very interesting thanks very much. My ancestors decided to re-locate after Culloden (very wise). Some went to Canada and others to Dublin which is where I am from. |
