Hi I'm a little confused and need some help, I have some people on Facebook telling me the guy that runs it is a shonk and thief that rips people off but seen other say they get really good service from him, so what are your experiences with him, I'm in the UK and he's in Australia so if anything goes wrong he's a long way away, what do I do, he has figures by the guy that did Drew's Militia and Battlefield and I like his work Thanks Phil |

Never heard anything but positive things about Simons Soldiers, my general attitude to FB is that its a seroiusly poor source of information on anything…………… L |

Same as Leon says, I have bought him and I´m in Spain. Never heard any problem, even you can write him at Facebook. The only thing is about time, COVID is delaying many things. |

My experience is that Simon is a good guy, and great to deal with. I'm also in the UK, and have had no problems with shipping. This was pre-Covid, but I read that others are getting their purchases through right now with no problem. I'm preparing to place another biggish order with him once he receives the masters for the final figures that I want. If you want figures in the Battlefield/Blitz style, which I do, then he is your go to guy. |

Another very satisfied U.K.-based customer. I'd always be very careful taking FB opinions at face value, there's usually another side to the story. |

I'm in the US and have made multiple purchases since he started up. I've had nothing but great experiences so far. The figures are great, the service is fast, and Simon is very responsive and helpful when you contact him. You might want to go back to your "some people" and vet them a little better. |

My limited interactions with Simon have been fine and my friends have ordered and no one has had an issue. |

Assumedly he gives a full geographic address. A minimum requirement for trust. Pay with a credit card and all should be secure. You know where he lives and the credit card company will cover you financially too martin |

I have also ordered from Simon and the figures, communication, and service were all very good! Like deephorse, I am waiting for some of his new masters to be put in production and will then place another order. |

I've had nothing but positive experience. Good communication, fast service plus several free samples included in my last order. In fact he was so generous with those samples I actually contacted him to make sure there hadn't been an error and he was quick to assure me there wasn't. Simon is active on FB himself and there is a Simon's Soldiers FB page, talk with him directly if you have concerns. I'm based in Australia and posted a package to the UK last week, the postal staff advised it would take longer than usual given Christmas and COVID, so some people may experience delays with delivery but that's hardly Simon's fault. |

I've ordered from him and had nothing but a good experience. He doesn't have everything available, but right now, that's a problem everyone's having to extent or another. |

Simon is a great guy and everybody likes him. I have not heard anything else. The guy "on Facebook" is either mistaken or there is some other confusion going on here. Simon took over Wartime because he loves the figures and wants to ensure their availability in the future. He's putting major personal investment in making loads of new stuff, which is probably financially risky, and he listens to his customers. And the figures are great, I have obtained much of his range. I'm in Finland and my experience is that I got updates from Simon every few days on how my package was proceeding in the international mail system. Then it reached Finland and I kept getting updates… it's now in the customs, now it's listed as being near my local post office… who else gives you this level of service? When the package arrived it was complete and well-packaged. |

I've had no problem purchasing from Simon. But a "shonk"? Thanks for teaching me a new insult – can't wait to try it out … |

Just an update that the person concerned kicked me off the Rapid Fire Wargaming page for bad mouthing him on here even though I didn't mention his name, all very strange, definitely not the behaviour I was expecting on my return to Wargaming Simon reached out to me and I will take the punt on getting some stuff after the Christmas chaos of mail |

I've actually sold stuff to him. Great guy. Definitely a passion for the game as he pays the sculptor to sculpt figures. Shipping to Australia from the US was a problem it took about 2 months to get there and I paid for Express. The figures he has are great BTW |

How is asking 1 question about the comparison in size between Simon's Soldiers and Britannia Miniatures spamming the group? I was a member for a few days before I got booted off |

And you take 1 persons word without getting both sides of the story? |
