I used to play Canvas Eagle with my 1/72 planes, however after playing Wings of Glory, i started liking hexless and template movement a lot. I dont want to buy a set of WoG since i already have a lot of 1/72 planes. Any tips?

I was going to recommend Canvas Eagles, but I won't.

Ok, I'm confused. gekkoseba mentioned Canvas Eagles (WWI), and I just noticed this is on the WWII board.

I deleted my post since I thought the OP meant the WWII version since this is the WWII board. Blame the confusion on Ares Games naming both games practically the same. :-(

Stryderg: Yes sorry, i used ww2 planes with Canvas Eagle rules for a long time, as i didnt know better. Now i am looking for a game without the hexes.
