… Middle Man and Produce the Film Entirely in the Unreal Engine

"Helmed by Peter Hyoguchi, Gods of Mars is an in-production science fiction film that's breaking new ground. While companies like Disney have used Epic's Unreal Engine to aid in production, Hyoguchi's film is going a step further and just filming the whole damn thing in Unreal.

Any link to what the story's about?
Clearly it's not the Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter novel The Gods of Mars.

Happy you like it boys! (smile)

"The film is set on Mars, circa 2099 where a washed-up astro-fighter pilot leads a ragtag team of mercenaries on a mission to take out a charismatic cult leader who has convinced a mining colony to revolt. The movie features a huge, interplanetary scope, air battles slicing through Mars' canyons, giant robots, futuristic Martian cities, close combat and a mystery about who are the original Gods of Mars."

I'll check it out when it is available.

At my old company we used an earlier incarnation of Unreal (Unreal 3) to animate sequences for the Heavenly Sword animated movie as well as a series of McDonald's Lego Batman animated shorts.

Capabilities have come a long way since then.

That was back in 2008.
