My small SAGA late Saxon army. You'll notice that there's a lot of figures (about 120)……I have no restraint! theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link Huscarls & Leaders to the front, Select Fyrd (didn't exist, evidently), flanked by archers in the second line & General Fyrd (as per previous comment) at the rear. To the left is the possibly mythical Saxon cavalry. theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link My hand painted flags are a feature (I wish!) theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link The arguable cavalry theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link Massed archers (maybe this is a fantasy army???) theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link theminiaturespage.com ‌"TMP link Some of the "crazies". Figures are mostly Strelets with some Revell. Cavalry are Tumbling Dice.

Strelets Saxons, Vikings, and Normans are great figures with lots of character. Imperial Romans, Germans, and Dacians are great too. They are chunky, have decent faces, and paint up really well. Highly recommended.
