I had no idea.

I just found it by accident. A Board looking at size comparisons and compatibility of various makers' work. It is almost empty.

I have read countless topics asking such questions on the Napoleonic Fora, less so on the WWII fora and I can well imagine everywhere else from Alex the Great in Afghanistan to…well Coalition Forces the same.

Now I have no idea how this might be remedied, mind you, plus I suspect few will read this message anyway. There should be an automatic…oh I know. I cross post to the Napoleonic Forum. That might get folk to look here. Maybe?

Or are people just happy to post their questions on the appropriate historical site, so this innovation is dying of neglect anyway?

I tend just to see the front page. If it appears on there, I'll see it. I don't go down to the board level unless I'm looking for something specific – there are just too many.

Just made two "new" posts from my blog about figure comparison.

Dare I say, there are too many boards and these more niche ones could readily be dropped – as you say, it's clear people are happy to ask whether xxx Napoleonic figures will match with yyy Napoleonics using the appropriate period-specific board.

Must be censored because there is nothing but this banter… not that I___

I never look at individual boards as there are far too many, just what scrolls up on the front page. The one exception is the WW2 discussion board, but of course the 'ignore' filter doesn't work at board level so it is rammed with what in other fora might politely be called spam.

Looks like the perfect thread to hijack…so about line movement penalties being too harsh, I mean a pace is a pace…..

Do folk know___
Ohh you mean that… I've been off 'the boards' for so long I don't even recognise them any more…

I'm just doing a treatise on utilising Minifigs 'horses' for alternate uses with photos, so may cross post (t)here.
