I never planned on a US platoon but a lucky find at the Eureka Miniatures trade stand at a local show led me down the path that has seen the force grow to a reasonable size for playing a platoon level game like Chain of Command. They are predominantly figures from AB. I've done a post with more details and pictures that you can see here US Platoon in 20mm

That's some impressive work.

The flame thrower is not shown above, so well worth following the link. Great work and I did enjoying trying my tank recognition, esp for the M4s. At least I knew an M4A1 from the rest. Clever to hide the engine covers with stowed kit.

Dumb question. With all the effort that went into creating ventilation grilles for tanks like the M4A2 or 3, I presume they could not in reality pile stuff all over the rear decking, as with say the M4 or M4A1? Must have been logistical murder in the Leclerc 2eme DB, with such a mix of gasoline and diesel engines

Your platoon is very similar to mine. The only real difference is that your's are painted. One of the nice things about AB is that there are a lot of options for CoC support crews.

Stop it! They are just so nice but I don't need any more temptation until I've finished my Normandy Brit support option (plus a couple of Sdkfz 251 for a TFL campaign).

Nice to see some Simon's Soldiers gun crew in the mix as well ;-)
