4th and final Hot & Dangerous miniature painted up. Let me know what you guys think, and which of the 4 miniatures you liked the most. I posted a group picture of all 4 minis over at my blog as well.

I tried to use my noob non metallic metal skills on all 4, I think gold is easier than metal/silver as you can get nice effects with brown and red washes prior to highlight with white color. Wanted to try something different for these minis, and it seemed fitting.

More pictures over at my blog: link

Some clever attention to detail here. Gold and red, for lace and fringes throughout, plus the single strip on the sleeve in gold. She is a sergeant. The patch on the bearskin seems to lack any ornament, but I suspect that may well be possible, as everything else is great.

Thanks for the comprehensive info deadhead, I must admit I was a bit worried what die hard Napoleonics fans would say about the painting as I only had the box cover and some old drawings to go by for the choice of colors.

I was going to comment on your site but the whole log in thing – nope.

Anyway – nice work on the epaulettes and bearskin cords. Red gold always looks great when done well.

@Brian Smaller,
Thanks for the heads up regarding the comments. I was not aware – but it would explain the zero comments since I launched my new site…. I looked into it a little further and it is possible to post as a guest without login if you just type a random name for your comment. But I guess this info is unknown to people (and was for me included….).
