According to the Molniya website, Carnot, Jaureguiberry, and Charles Martel were in the same class. But as far as I can tell, these ships didn't visually resemble each other very much. So my question is: what does the Molniya miniature for the Charles Martel look like?

Along these same lines, does anyone know if the Carnot model made by Tumbling Dice actually looks like the Carnot?

French "classes" in that time frame are not necessarily near-identical sips. The Marine Ministry would issue a specification and all the interested dockyards and builders would submit designs to meet it. There was a technical committee who would then choose which ones to order. Things would be further muddle by constant change requests during the building period, so the finished product might not even be close to the original specification, much less its putative "sisters".

As to which actual ship Molniya makes, I don't know.

I can't speak to Molniya's French B's, as I have none. That said, I did order several of their 2400 scale French Armored and Protected Cruisers and was quite favorably impressed.

Just steer clear of their Italian Regina Margherita. I dont know if they've corrected their little "oopsie" on that one yet.

What happened with the Regina Margherita?

If you order the French, ask them about it.

If they don't seem like they know what you're asking about, assume its not fixed.

If you're feeling super motivated, order one and post a review.

Suffice to say I ordered 2 and they required a substantial kitbash to put right. I should have taken pix first, then I could have done a review, but I was in a hurry to get them done and started hacking straight away.
