Definitely a great museum and only a short walk from the center of Bayeaux.

It is worth a visit and is easy to combine with the Bayeaux Tapestry and the Cathedral for an historical day out.

Have fun.

I visited this museum in 2018 and it is great. My Wife and kids and I spent 5 days in Normandy touring the area. Was a wonderful experience – great accommodation, friendly people etc. I could go and stay there for a month and not run out of things to see and do.
