Could this offer an explanation for the fascination several regular posters on these boards have for Napoleon and their determination to defend him against any perceived slight? |

No. And from most of what I have seen is that Napoleon is only 'defended' if the information being posted about his is inaccurate, which unfortunately happens all to often. |

Brechtel198, fancy you turning up here! When you simply write 'No', do you mean that the idea behind the article does not apply to your own personal interest in Napoleon, the reasons for which only you yourself can know for sure, so a fair comment? Or do you mean the idea has no validity in general, in which case would you care to explain why? |
