"Over the last few months, I have made a few tutorials, showing how to convert smaller, better-scaled firearms, including a Sister of Battle Boltgun, and a Space Marine plasma rifle. This month, I wanted to create a weapon scaled for human-sized individuals, and decided to convert a laspistol…"

Science fiction or fantasy figures have never been all that concerned about whether their weapons were in scale.
Why start now? grin

It helps my suspension of disbelief to see weapons that look reasonably sized.

That is rather good, makes me wonder why manufacturers go the BFG way.

Oh yeah their target market, which is not me.

I'd like to see pistols that would actually fit into the holsters on the figure's belt :)

John the OFM snarled belligerently -

Errrmm . . . they're as tired of the constant criticism for having OOS weapons by the historical stuffed shirts, as women are by those same people telling them "You can't play. . . Go make me sandwich, B***h!"

Just a wild stab in the dark with a philosophical K-bar . . .

It's a nice conversion, but I probably would have replaced it with one of the laspistols from the old IG sprues (yes, I'm lazy… ;-)

Happy you like it too my friend!.

But you let women play, and then they complain about the big breasts and lack of clothing on the female figures. Can't win. Of course not all women are like this, thank goodness. It is said that they are good at multitasking, so they should be able to play and make sandwiches. Everybody wins!

Having had worn "light" armour before, I would definitely prefer to wear less, so I can't see the issue.

If you get rid of big weapons for being unrealistic, then you have to get rid of dragons and aliens too. Not to mention it's a ray gun we are talking about here!
