Was the Dorchester command vehicle used in Burma? I have a spare one, wondering if I can use it with my XIV Army collection |

At a guess David I think it entirely plausible. However the formations were not that fast moving compared to desert ones. Maybe there is a "Slim" picture with one in it? I appreciate my answer is of no use, but I like to support interesting questions. martin

Here's another useless answer I'm afraid, but after seeing numerous photos over the years from this theatre I haven't seen any pictures. Happy to be proven wrong! lol |

I've also never seen a photo of a Dorchester in Burma, which of course doesn't mean there weren't any. I really can't imagine anyone is going to complain if you field one. I imagine it will be sitting at the back with a load of rear HQ types in any case. |
