I picked up Blood and Valor and we played a couple of games with the rules. They are fast but suffer from some serious flaws. link |

This style seems to be pretty popular. We won't worry about historic TO&Es, but we'll make sure that your squad has supporting off-board naval gunfire. Great looking figures. |

There is an upcoming expansion that covers many of the missing elements you call out in your review. |

79th PA, thanks, I'm not the best painter but I try Martian Root Canal, given the extremely bland differences between the troops in the current book and the complete lack of research into the squad organization I am going to pass on that. If I have to do all the research myself to modify their product to reflect history I would prefer to keep the forty bucks in my pocket. |

The one I don't like in the rules is the bidding system. Just seems to be gimmick to me. We just use the initiative system out of the old Price of Glory rules. Other than that, I like these rules. They said recently the next supplement will have the rest of the war and the RCW in it, plus armoured cars. |
